One of the most common concerns that many of my clients have is that they aren’t ready yet, or that they’re not good enough yet to become visible in their desired marketplace.

They are afraid to show up because they’re not perfect yet and their ducks aren’t all lined up - maybe they’re not the perfect weight, or don’t have the most gorgeous website up.

They’ve learned all they can, got a ton of training and certifications, and researched a LOT.

This can lead to overwhelm, and the best cure for overwhelm is... action!

But for whatever reason, they can’t motivate themselves enough to move forward and take real action!

Often in this case, the deeper underlying fear is not a fear of perfection, or “not enough training”.

It’s a deep fear of not being unique enough, and of not having something of enough value to offer in the marketplace.

The fear-based ego says, "There are way too many insert your desired profession here, and I will just be cluttering up the marketplace even further. I don’t want to do that. What will people think?"

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world...” - Marianne Williamson

We tell ourselves, there are people more experienced, more knowledgable, and prettier than we are, who are already doing what we want to do.

The truth is, my loves, there is no one like you.

One of my mentors, Marie Forleo, says that “the world needs that special something that only you have.”

Your Tribe Needs to Hear From YOU

By playing small and not showing up and shining your light, the way you were BORN to do (as a side note, the Universe plants your desires into your head!), you will be doing a HUGE disservice to not only yourself, but to those who need your service or product from YOU the most.

Yes, it’s true - there's a lot of the same information out there. It’s not all about the information - no one is really recreating the wheel here, and that’s not even a requirement to be successful.

I myself was inspired to write this post by things I’ve learned from Marianne Williamson, Marie Forleo, Tony Robbins, Mike Dooley… the list goes on.

The Secret Ingredient to Success in Business is YOU

It's ALL about the packaging. Ready for the secret ingredient to success in business as a lightworker? Your personality is the packaging!

Your unique perspective on the world has NEVER been seen and WILL NEVER BE SEEN AGAIN in the Universe.

No one sees the world like you do. There is only one you.

And there are people out there waiting to hear from you.

A lot of this is about taking yourself out of the equation for a second.

I’m going to use my own coaching business as an example...

I used to think that there were so many business coaches out there, that they all looked the same and were doing the same thing, and that I didn’t stand a chance at standing out.

I didn’t see my uniqueness as an asset back then.

Fast forward to today. On a coaching session this morning, I had a client tell me that she’s been looking for a business coach for a long time, but never found someone who resonates with her until she came across me.

Win-win!

This same story can easily be true for you, too.

Click to Tweet: As a lightworker, it is your divine responsibility to find and serve your tribe.

Think about it: doing otherwise due to fear & ego-based thoughts would be selfish.

If you can identify, find and serve YOUR tribe, just by being you... you are providing so much value.

Your tribe might have even heard the SAME exact things before, but they might need to hear it from you - from your perspective, your life background, your intonation.

What's beautiful is that with time, you'll develop your voice and gain confidence as you continue to put yourself out there. And you'll attract people who love you, and repel those who don’t jive with your energy.

It’s sort of like jogging - it’s tough and clunky at first, unnatural even, but with time and repetition, it becomes easy and you start to see results.

Ready to Put This Into Practice?

So if you’re like OK, Mona Lisa, I already know this intellectually, but I don’t FEEL IT. I get it, I’m very feelings-based, too! If that's the case, I have some homework for you.

Prove it to yourself. Find ONE person in the world who would love to hear about your product or service (or even a theory that you love!) from you in particular.

And once you do - officially congratulate yourself for joining the game!

Once you find one person, you'll know that there are more out there. So find one person to provide your service to - even if it's free if you’re just starting out (the value you'll get is the KNOWING).

If you already have clients, do a survey to your existing clients - ask why they decided to work with you, what were the key determining factors. I guarantee you'll see similarities, and you'll see your own personality as a big contributor.

You literally never know what people need to hear - don't judge it based on your own frame. People are in different places and you could be the one to tell them something that will change their life. They might NEED to hear it from you.
